My name is Xi Luo and I am a junior student in MSU. I come from China a middle side city named Wuxi which is near Shanghai. I am the only one in my family but I get lots of uncles, aunts, and cousins. I am the youngest in this big family’s third generation.
My major is Sociology which I changed it from Physics 1 year ago. I used to choose physics because of social pressure, family decision and hope. I used to believe working hard should be enough to pass this subject. But after 2 years’ hard study, I found I am totally not that kind of intelligence to handle well physics, chemistry, or biology especially when they are not in my mother language. So I choose back Sociology as history, psychology, war and International conflict are my favorite since youth.
After 3 years hard work and confusion, I finally confirmed my idea of future path which is to follow what I always like and my old dream. Although my English writing is still far away from GRE requirement as this major requires lots of reading and writing. But since I liked it from youth, it should be much faster for me to get into battle station. I wish you people could understand me and accept me as a member of this MSU students big family.
